About the Field Academy

Part of the Academy's high school recovery program, Field Academy students work toward a high school diploma. Corpsmembers gain job skills in natural and urban resource fieldwork while attending classes; class curriculum is tied to field-service projects.

Our Services

Corpsmembers deliver high quality contract services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Field services

• We cut grass and brush.
• We create and maintain trails.
• We restore creeks, meadows, and watersheds.
• We remove non-native plants.
• We plant trees.

Urban Resource Services

• We clean up playgrounds and parks.
• We remove debris and graffiti.
• We provide landscaping including pruning trees and thinning vegetation.
• We help the San Francisco Bay by stenciling "No Dumping, Drains to Bay" on storm drains.
