Academic Coaches do not need to have a background in teaching, just an enthusiastic and patient attitude.

I am inspired by the students who are working hard to beat the odds of their challenging beginnings. I love seeing the ‘light bulbs’ go on when I’m working with a student who is confused by a concept. The students are always appreciative of the support I provide. I always look forward to my time at Civicorps!”
