Many companies generously match employee donations. Please contact
your Human Resources department to see if your organization provides
matching gifts. Contact us if you have questions about how to
establish a matching gift program at your organization.
United Way and Local Independent
Charities
Civicorps Schools participates in the United Way and Local Independent
Charities workplace-giving programs. If an employer participates
in either of these programs, employees can designate a direct
contribution to Civicorps Schools.
Donate by Shopping Through
Schoolpop or Escrip
Shop at Schoolpop
When you make an online purchase with one of the Schoolpop
merchants, Civicorps Schools receives a contribution at no cost
to you.
Shop
at Escrip
Each time you shop using registered grocery,
credit, or debit/ATM cards at eScrip
merchants, a contribution is made to Civicorps Schools in your
name. Escrip merchants include large retailers like Safeway, Vons,
Chevron, Big 5. Escrip does require a $10 annual membership fee.
Stock and Bond Donations
Donating stocks and/or bonds is a great
way to contribute to Civicorps Schools. Please contact your stock
broker or the Civicorps Development Director, Rebecca Grove, at (510) 992-7832
for more information.
Donate your old car, boat, or trailer
It's convenient; Donate
for Charity manages each step of the vehicle donation process.
They arrange a free vehicle pickup, handle the DMV process and
paperwork, sell the vehicle at auction, distribute the net proceeds
to Civicorps Schools, and provide you with a receipt for your
tax deduction. When you are ready to donate, simply call Donate
for Charity toll-free at (866) 392-4483.
Planned Giving Through a Will or Bequest
Planned giving helps ensure your gift lives
on. To discuss planned giving, please contact Rebecca Grove, Civicorps
Development Director, at (510) 992-7832.
Sponsor a Student
Sponsor a student at the Civicorps Elementary
School or the Civicorps Academy. Help support a young person's
success.
